Hey everyone! Happy New Year! How is it already 2018?!!

So I am here to tell you guys about all of the books that I am planning on reading this month.

This year, I have decided to set up my TBRs a little differently than I have in the past year in a half since I started this blog (as well as my YouTube channel). I will talk more about this in an upcoming post about my goals for this year but to make it short, I want to put the review books that I receive from publishers and authors first this year.

In the almost 2 years (yes. This blog will be 2 years old in April. I can’t believe it either) since I start my book blogging and BookTubing career, I have always put the new releases that had come out recently first. When I started getting review books in late 2016, that trend continued. I actually (and I feel really bad for saying this) have books that I got almost 2 years ago on my TBR shelf still.

This year, this is going to change.

Like I said earlier, I am going to putting those books first. They are my top priority. Will I still be reading new releases? Of course but these are those books that those publishers and authors so graciously sent me and I want to keep that commitment that I made with them when I got those books.

So with that long rant done and over with, here are the books on my (very short) TBR for January.

  • The Trials of Apollo Book 1: The Hidden Oracle by Rick Riordan (I actually have already finished this!)
  • The Night Market by Jonathan Moore (sent to me for review by the publisher)
  • Simon V.S. The Homosapiens Agenda by Becky Albertalli
  • Thirteen Reasons Why by Jay Asher

As always, I will have full reviews for all of these books up here on the blog as soon as I have finished them and I will also have reviews for them on my YouTube channel soon after!

Happy Reading!
