When I started reading this book, I had very high expectations. I had heard so many good reviews about this book and this entire series that I thought I would give it a try and see if I would have the same thoughts about it.

Unfortunately, I was very let down as soon as I read the first couple of pages. It seemed very slow to me. There wasn’t much action going on to get my pulled into the story. At first, I told myself that maybe it would get faster and more action packed as I got further into the book. Once again, I was wrong. I could only get through the first 3 or 4 chapters before I couldn’t go any further.

Like I said, I had very high expectations going in and I was very let down about what I was reading. However, I did like the writing style of the book so I may give it another chance sometime in the future. I also would love to read more books by Marissa Meyer because I think the way she writes is great.
